During each performance, the bandmembers pay a spectacular musical tribute to Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor.
Singer and founder of the band Ward Palmen shines on stage as an interpreter of the legendary Freddie Mercury. He tries to approach the original vocal lines as precisely as possible. Because he has a considerable reach, he knows how to enchant his audience time and time again.
Drummer Mick Gravéé, and bassist Geert Horvers, lay a solid foundation for every show. Ralph Derksen‘s breathtaking guitarplay guarantees goosebumps. Pianist and keyboardist Axel Lindelauf was recently added, completing the band. For that authentic Queen sound, the band uses the same instruments and amplifiers as Queen themselves. The overall package creates an authentic sound and atmosphere you won’t find with any other tribute band.
In 2022, Queen Must Go On won the first edition of the Dutch Talpa/SBS6 television format ‘The Tribute – Battle of the Bands’. The grand price was a performance as headliner in the famous Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in May 2022.
