Axel is a true bon vivant, born and raised in Heerlen. A broad musical background is the foundation of his success. With his first old roads-type organ, he visited many rehearsal rooms and played in various bands.

Axel was a member of Volumia! from the very beginning, one of the most popular bands in the Netherlands in the late 1990s. After Volumia! disbanded in 2002, bands like The Coronas and The Originals have been his trade, and he has never missed a performance.

Axel also studied for three years at the Maastricht Conservatory. He utilizes this experience as a producer and composer and can often be found in his studio. His brother was a huge Queen fan during their childhood. Queen songs sounded throughout the house all day long, and Axel also caught the
